London Property Triathlon

London Property Triathlon

On Saturday 4 August, Instant Offices will be participating in the London Property Triathlon, held near the Excel Centre at Custom House. The aim is to raise £200,000 for three charities: DEBRA, Unicef and Great Causes.

DEBRA is a UK charity helping individuals with the skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and has helped awareness and support of this rare condition for nearly 30 years. UNICEF, a leading children's charity, provide vaccinations and aim to ensure clean and safe living conditions for children in countries around the world. Great Causes helps those with cataracts, a condition that affects over 20 million people worldwide. Regardless of where people finish in the triathlon, the money raised will make a significant difference to these charities, and the people they are trying to help.

Instant Offices is raising money for Great Causes, a charity that Managing Director Robert Hamilton strongly supports: "I don't expect Instant Offices to win the triathlon. For us it's about raising money, keeping fit and working as a team. We are doing the triathlon to raise money for a great charity, Great Causes, where as little as three pounds can help restore a child's eyesight." Instant Offices has over 30 people participating in the London Property Triathlon, where the individual sprint consists of a 750m swim, 20km cycle ride, followed by a 5km run. Many have been training hard (and some not so hard!) to prepare for the event. Those who did not want to complete the whole event themselves but still wanted to participate have formed teams to complete one discipline each. The distances for the team event are a 1500m swim, 40km cycle ride, followed by a 10km run.

Friends and family and general spectators are welcome to watch and support those taking part in the event. There will be designated areas for spectators, including a local pub so you can relax whilst showing your support!
