Rob Hamilton Scoops Major Award
Rob Hamilton, Managing Director of Instant Offices, has been nominated as one of the Top 500 New Talents in Britain, by Courvoisier in partnership with The Observer.
Hamilton features in the Top 10 in Courvoisier's Future 500 for new and upcoming individuals in the highly competitive field of "Business", having taken Instant Offices from a business idea to a multi-million pound enterprise in less than eight years.
Nominations for the award began in May after The Observer published a special supplement highlighting successful individuals in a variety of fields. As a result, the Future 500 was released in November 2007 to identify successful individuals to look out for in the future and provide a platform for supporting and encouraging the top young business men and women in the UK.
Hamilton initially trained as a chartered surveyor in London before identifying a gap in the serviced offices market, and consequently set up Instant Offices in May 1999. The vision for Instant Offices was to amalgamate the fragmented serviced office sector into one online marketplace and currently has two main activities; Instant Offices acts as a broker for serviced offices around the world with headquarters in London, Sydney and Miami, and also provides managed offices for large corporate and government organisations. The company is growing into new sectors using its property contacts and web-based knowledge, and Hamilton is on track to build a business with £100m in sales.
