Instant Offices: 2007 Review
Instant Offices had a tough challenge after 2006 to build upon its position as top broker of serviced offices in highly competitive markets such as UK, USA and Australia. After focusing heavily on these key markets whilst also also expanding into other geographical regions, Instant Offices has consolidated its position as the leading broker for serviced offices in the world. 2007 was an extremely busy year including office relocation, new recruits and several charity projects. Here we take a look back over the past year's highlights:
London Property Triathlon
One of the biggest achievements of 2007 for Instant Offices was participating in the London Property Triathlon, raising over £12,500 in the process for Great Causes. More than 20 people from Instant Offices competed in the event, battling not only tough competitors, but also the extremely hot weather conditions. Congratulations go to all those who completed the event, whether individually or as a team, and hopefully the funds raised will make a significant difference to those people in need.
Instant Offices and Instant Offices Group Websites
Instant Offices and Instant Offices Group both had their websites updated in 2007, making searching for serviced offices and managed offices easier and more user-friendly. Additions and updates to the Instant Offices website have been made continually throughout the year, including new Virtual Tours across Central London, the Cost Calculator and the ability to view centre locations on Google Maps for over 40 countries around the world.
Instant Offices Relocation
In July, Instant Offices relocated to Paddington to accommodate the rapidly growing business and the increasing number of staff within the company. Significant growth to all areas of the business including UK, USA, Australia, Asia, Europe, Middle East, South America and Africa have seen teams expand and welcome new recruits. The relocation to Paddington, one of the busiest business locations in London, has prompted efforts to ensure that Instant Offices can minimise its impact to the environment and create a eco-friendly business. Also in 2007, Instant Offices established offices in Sydney, Australia, with the USA sales team relocating to Miami in the near future.
Awards
Rob Hamilton, Managing Director of Instant Offices, has scooped several awards in 2007, including being nominated as one of the Top 500 New Talents in the UK by Courvoisier in partnership with The Observer. Instant Offices also achieved "Star Status" within the 2007 Best Companies Accrediation Standard. Since September 2006 over 100,000 employees from 434 organisations have been surveyed about their workplace with only 273 companies achieving 'Star Status'.
Although 2007 has been hectic and seen significant expansion to the company, more of the same is expected in 2008. Instant Offices wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
